“Free website hosting plans” are a type of web hosting service where you get free web space on their hosting server to create and host your web site free. Free web page hosting has several advantages, but mainly that it costs nothing (no money and no credit cards needed). Free web site hosting services also often have several disadvantages (though a few actually surpass some of the cheapest paid hosting servers in some features), such as limited webhosting features and forced ads. Usually in exchange for these free hosting services, the free web hosting company places advertisements on your free web pages of some sort (banners, textlinks, popups, etc.) to cover their costs, and hopefully make a profit. However there are some free website hosts that provide free bannerless hosting (no ads, no popups, and no advert of any kind), so they make money in other ways, such as displaying ads for the webmaster to click in their control panel, sending email ads, or requiring forum posting (which of course displays ads, as well as causing you to create free website content for them). Other free web page hosts offer very limited services (such as limited web page space, bandwidth limit, and no scripting) to attract users and hope that many people upgrade to a paid webhosting service. Many free website hosts provide a subdomain or sub-directory of their own domainname instead of (or an option to) allowing its users to host their own top-level domain name free.

Before I put up another list of available domains today, a quick say on what you need when you get that new domain you find here and register it.
And that is hosting. Yes, a domain is a bit useless just sitting at the registrar. So thus the hosting of your domain. Now there are two ways to go, depending on your situation and your plans. One way is to pay for hosting. And there are literally hundreds of host companies out there ready for your money. The other way is to get free hosting. Yes, there are quite a few hosting companies out there that will host your domain for free, as in no cost. Now there might be some restrictions to get free hosting, depending on the company. Some may only give you very limited storage and limited bandwidth for free hosting,which is okay unless your domain grows beyond those limits. Some may put banner ads and/or other advertising on your site. Basically for giving them space on your pages of your domain you get free hosting.
I have a new site I just put up that will over time list those free hosting companies I find that are worth your while to check out. As my site is new, I only have two good free hosting companies shown at the present time. And yes, my new site will develop and flesh out over time, may even change in the looks of the site, but always with those good free hosting companies for you to check out and possibly use. What to look for in a Proxy website host

The web based proxy phase is pretty much in full effect now. Webmasters have started to realize that web based proxy sites can bring them in good traffic revenue. With little site upkeep and cost needed to run a successful proxy website it’s understandable every webmaster should run at least one. As a webmaster you can purchase a clever proxy-related domain such as “unblockwebsites” or “unlockmyspace” and download your free proxy script. PHProxy and PHPMyProxy seem to be the most common amongst the free proxy script community. However you can also purchase a proxy script such a Zelune. These scripts are usually only four or five file’s and take only seconds to setup. Once your domain is registered you will need to purchase proxy hosting to support your script. When looking for a proxy hosting provider you will need to concentrate on different requirements and aspects then if you were purchasing regular shared web hosting. Many proxy hosting packages come with little or no disk space. This is because, as I said, a proxy script is usually only a few file’s – disk space is minimal and you only need about 300Meg to 1Gig of disk space. Now on the other hand, proxy websites do use a lot of bandwidth. If you think about the aspects behind a proxy website you will understand why. Let’s pretend that I am in school and my schools IT department has blocked the domain myspace.com – preventing me from accessing the site. I could visit a proxy website and connect to myspace from there (using the web hosts IP address – not my school IP address). When visitors come to your proxy website, some will surf the net for hours, using lots of your bandwidth. With this in mind, consider using a proxy hosting plan that includes a good amount of bandwidth. The standard proxy hosting package should be between 300Meg and 1Gb of disk space, with about 50Gb of bandwidth. Also keep an eye out for hosting companies that will offer free script installation – this saves you more time and money!
