Namepros is having their live auction for domains this Thursday, two days from now. Starts at 5pm CST and should be plenty of action. If you are looking for a domain or domains for a new website, or just to grab and hold for the future, be sure and be there! When you go to Namepros, you will see at the top right of the page the link to go to the prebidding page. That is the page that will list each live auction, complete with the domain or domains per auction, description, and current bid.
Myself, I put up 3 of my domains on the live auction with a reserve price that is quite low. I hope to see some action on my lot and hopefully the lot will go for a princely sum. My three domains are: needpoker.com cityofdm.com chiefaffiliates.com. You can go to my prebid page and bid now.
Here’s to seeing all of you at the live auction Thursday evening!
Domains at Auction

Geesh…both domains went for only $3.00! Guess no domain bidders alive on Namepros!
I put two domains up on auction at NamePros forums the other day. At present, the top bid is an anemic $3.00! And this is for two (2) domains! I need more bidders on this auction that’s for sure.
Go to the auction and if you like the two domains up for auction, please bid on them. But do this quick as the auction states it is over 24 hours after the last bid. That means as I write this, only about 17 hours to go on the last bid of that anemic $3.00.
http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?p=3076483#post3076483 is the link to my auction for 2 domain names. You will have to be a member of NamePros to bid, but it is free and easy to register and be a member of probably the best forum on the net for domainers.

Godaddy Savings

Man, I tell you. Godaddy pushes out coupons and specials so fast and furious, that one wonders exactly what coupon and what special will bring the best deal to register a new domain, to renew a domain, transfer a domain to godaddy, or what service of theirs is cheaper than getting that service elsewhere.
So today they released another coupon that gives you 20% any purchase of anything over $100. But there are a lot of stipulations, like not applicable to premium domains, bulk domain registering, and more. Heck, just read all this and decide if you want to even mess with the coupon:
Not applicable to premium domains, bulk domain purchases, discounted domain products, Sunrise/Landrush domain registrations, .ME domain registrations, discounted memberships or maintenance plans; additional disk space and bandwidth renewals, custom page layouts, posters, die-cast cars or gift cards. Discount reflected in your shopping cart — cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
Free Hosting, WebSite Tonight, Personalized Email, Online Photo Filer and Quick Blogcast valued at over $100/yr if purchased separately. Free Hosting, WebSite Tonight, Online Photo Filer and Quick Blogcast services are ad-supported. All comparison prices are accurate as of 9/25/2008 and are subject to change without notice.
So here is the coupon and it is good until midnight Sunday, September 28th:

Google’s 10th Birthday

September 24, 2008
Face it, all webmasters it seems to me live and die by google. What google does to their precious site when it comes to page rank. Webmasters scream and scream if their page rank drops, or they whine and gripe if their page rank does not increase to what they know their site deserves.
Then all webmasters try every trick in the book to get their website to show up number one for some search term in google. Black hat methods, grey hat methods and white hat methods are all tried to get that precious high listing when someone searches google.
And then the webmasters who really do live and die by google and the traffic they get from google. They work and work on seo to get their site up there so they can grab all that search traffic. Why they do not do simple things like advertising and link exchanges is beyond me. But one day, while bragging about their website and how much traffic they are getting from google, all that google love traffic disappears in a heart beat!
All the above is leading to this….Google’s 10th Birthday! And their special page they put up to celebrate this happy event.
